LOVE BITE REVIEW: Terrific beginning to a new series!! New author Angela Roquet has done her homework on this one! If you like urban fantasy then you will love this book. There are reapers, demons, mythological creatures and even an archangel! Wow, what a combination! Angela works her wonders at making all these characters work together in this “afterlife” series. She makes you laugh and keeps you on the edge of your seat.
Her main character Lana Harvey is a soul harvesting reaper in the “afterlife”. Her job is to get the souls she reaps to their destination. She likes to slack and have fun after, but her boss Grim (the reaper lol) has other plans for her. Namely plans that will benefit him and his career… Lots of twists and turns in this book and just enough sexy.
Angela mixes just about every religion imaginable in this book, but surprisingly does so seamlessly. She has a broad knowledge of religion and has definitely done her research. This is going to be just a great new series! I can’t to wait to get my hands on book 2!!
